“No gift higher than love”
– 1 Corinthians 13
“Love is patient, kind, without envy. It is not boastful or arrogant. It is not ill-mannered nor does it seek its own interest.”
“Love overcomes anger and forgets offenses.”
“It does not take delight in wrong, but rejoices in truth.”
“Love excuses everything, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
– 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
This is the definition of unconditional love according to First Corinthians, Chapter Thirteen, Verses Four to Seven.
When the other verses were abused, the last verse has been implored and solicited mischievously.
Each one of us have our own thoughts and minds, so we would interpret this unconditional love differently.
If only we can practice it, but it is not at all easy.
